Application Checklist

1. All applicants must apply online and pay the university application processing fee through the Illinois State University’s Admission Portal.
2. All applicants must submit all required application materials by our published deadlines to be considered for admission with financial support:
   1. Application Deadline for Fall Semester—March 1st
   2. Application Deadline for Spring Semester—October 15th
3. All applicants must submit the following supporting application materials through their online application portal:
   1. One set of transcripts per institution
   2. Statement of purpose outlining your interest in economics, research and career goals
   3. Curriculum Vitae/Resume
   4. Three (3) academic letters of recommendation
4. Use the following Test Score Reporting Codes for the GRE and TOEFL:
   1. University Code – 1319
   2. Department Code – None
5. Examine funding opportunities and apply for funding by our published deadlines to be considered for financial support (separate decision from the admissions decision).
6. All applicants should monitor their application status via their student center and check their email regularly for requests for additional.
7. All inquiries regarding graduate admissions should be directed to the ISU Graduate Admissions office for domestic students and to the ISU International Admissions office for international students. For any questions about the master’s program contact the Graduate Program Director, Dr. Nikolaou.
